Woman handed to prosecutors over theft of wallet left on bus

A local woman in her 50s has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office after allegedly taking a wallet left on a bus seat. Police said they received a report in March from a male passenger who left his wallet on board, containing identification documents and a Macao Pass card with a small balance. Investigators used bus company and Macao Pass data to identify the suspect, who was contacted on Monday. She admitted acting on impulse and said she discarded the items.
