SSM: Flu cases still on the rise

The Health Bureau (SSM) has reported that around 25% of respiratory samples collected over the past two weeks tested positive for influenza, indicating active transmission. Clusters of cases have increased in schools, childcare centres, and care homes, with daily emergency visits averaging over 800. SSM director Alvis Lo urged residents to take preventive measures and get vaccinated. He also noted that dengue and other vector-borne risks have declined.
