Success Universe boosts financial support for Ponte 16 Resort

Success Universe Group is increasing its financial support for its Macau resort Ponte 16, with new filings indicating total exposure could reach HKD839 by 2025. The latest agreement provides HKD490 million in immediate funding to Pier 16 – Property Development, the joint venture behind the resort. Including accrued interest of HKD7 million, the group’s 2025 exposure totals nearly HKD497 million. Combined with previous shareholder loans of HKD385 million, the total support could reach HKD839 million. Success Universe owns 49% of Pier 16, with SJM Holdings holding the remaining 51%.
