TASTE OF EDESIA | A first-class cocktail journey

This November, award-winning mixologist Tural Hasanov will be at The St. Regis Bar from November 8 to 12 for an exclusive cocktail journey. The Director of Beverage at The Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai has been a guest mixologist for various properties within Marriott International and won the “People Choice Mixologist of the Year” by That’s Shanghai Magazine in 2020.  He is also credited for pioneering creative cocktails for different venues and occasions inspired by a sense of place.
His professional demeanor and in-depth knowledge has led him to mentor many aspiring bartenders. My mission is to introduce the fun part of concocting cocktails and to leave a little memento behind for guests and the bartenders at The St. Regis Bar” said Tural. “I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented bartenders in Shanghai and Dubai and I look forward to adding Macau to the list.”
Guests can discover a selection of New York inspired cocktails handcrafted by Tural and wind their way through curated cocktail list inspired by the home of the Astor, New York. Each infusion evokes a unique story from the city’s five boroughs, steeped in heritage and vibrant mythology of Upper Manhattan, Lower Manhattan, East Side, West Side and Midtown. To elevate the experience, Tural will lead a  master class revealing his secrets to making personalised cocktails that are always classy, balanced and above all, original.
