The Buzz | Top legislator meets local lawmakers 

China’s top legislator Zhang Dejiang yesterday urged Macau’s lawmakers to continue to contribute to “one country, two systems.” Zhang, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC), made the remarks at a meeting with a delegation headed by Ho Iat Seng, president of the Legislative Assembly (AL).
According to Xinhua, Zhang listened to a report and expressed his recognition of the work of the AL. Zhang expressed hopes that the local lawmakers can fulfill their duties and “unite people from all circles” so as to support a governance in accordance with the law.
