Transmac has introduced three new pure electric buses, which entered service earlier this week. According to Transmac, its shift to new-energy buses began in 2018, gradually phasing out diesel vehicles. By 2024, the entire fleet had largely moved to alternative energy sources.  The company reported a 13% drop in carbon emissions in 2025 compared with 2024, and a 51.6% reduction since 2019. The new buses operate on routes 9, 16, and 28C.
