From after-dark museum adventures and captivating residency show, to AI-powered art exhibition and storybook dreamscapes, MGM invites those across generations — families, little explorers and culture seekers — to dive into a summer packed with creativity, wonder, and inspiration.

Night Out at the Museum: Turn Curiosity into Adventure for Kids

At the heart of MGM’s summer lineup is “Night Out at the Museum” at the POLY MGM MUSEUM — a Friday evening experience from July 18 to August 29 that transforms a museum visit into an interactive journey for children aged 4-12.

In each session, young adventurers join Leo, a janitor by day and secret scientist by night, as he activates a time machine that opens a portal to a parallel universe, introducing Keo, another lion cub. Together, they lead children on an archaeological quest along the Maritime Silk Road, uncovering Macau history and heritage in the most imaginative way.

It is a night where history becomes play, learning becomes adventure, and every MOP150 child ticket includes free admission for two accompanying adults.

Running in tandem is the Intangible Cultural Heritage Conversation Series. Since June, the programme has brought together artisans, scholars, and cultural inheritors to promote traditional Chinese crafts, including Cloisonne, Guangcai Porcelain and Pith Painting. Be sure to enroll in the final session on August 8, spotlighting the delicate art of pith painting.

Macau 2049: Theatrical Journey across Time, Culture & Innovation

Continue your Art-mazing journey with Macau 2049, a breathtaking residency directed by world-renowned filmmaker Zhang Yimou.

Staged at the MGM Theater, this 80-minute show invites audiences of all ages on a voyage through eight forms of Chinese intangible cultural heritage — each reimagined through the lens of immersive stagecraft and cutting-edge technology from over 20 countries and regions.

It is a multisensory celebration of tradition, imagination, and future-thinking artistry. Whether you’re a curious child, a seasoned traveler, or simply seeking something extraordinary, this show inspires across generations.

This summer, make the most of your Macau 2049 visit with limited-time experiences— enjoy free admission for one accompanying adult with every child ticket purchased. Even more exclusive offerings will be unveiled shortly. Please stay tuned for the latest updates.

cAI™ Lab 2.0 – Is It Your Gaze that Meets Mine, or Mine that Seeks Yours?

At  MGM’s Fantasy Box, the journey takes a futuristic leap with “cAI™ Lab 2.0 – Is It Your Gaze that Meets Mine, or Mine that Seeks Yours?”, an interactive art exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Cai Guo-Qiang and his AI artist cAI™ (pronounced AI Cai), featured in the “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale 2025”.

Powered by cAI™ — an AI model custom-developed by Cai and his team since 2017 — this exhibition lets visitors take part in cAI™’s “One AI, One Show”, featuring the groundbreaking “Firework Function”. This dynamic system is driven by the creativity of over 80,000 public contributors, gathered since cAI™’s debut exhibition Soul Scan in Macau. Visitors are invited to co-create digital fireworks with cAI™, interact with the emotionally intuitive cAI™ Hotline, and even receive a personalized AI-generated love poem.

Open to the public from July 20 to September 22, this is an unmissable stop where audiences can have a profound exchange with AI and a bold look at the future of art.

The Magic of Lines: Co-create Community Memories in Art

Wrap up the adventure at the Barra District, where the playful world of French illustrator Serge Bloch comes to life in “Magic of Lines: Serge Bloch’s Wonderland of Picture Books”, another art exhibition co-presented by MGM and the Cultural Affairs Bureau within the heart of the community.

As part of the 2nd Macao International Children’s Arts Festival, this event invites families and children to unleash creativity and simple joys of life in Bloch’s fun-filled illustrations.

Don’t miss the Extended Picture Book Workshop Series for kids aged 3–10. Each session brings one of Bloch’s books to life through themed games, crafts and storytime intended to inspire young imaginations.

MGM Art-amazing lineup promises to ignite creativity and wonder for all ages. Explore more details at mgm.mo to embark on your own adventure!
