Wynn Macau becomes first resort in Macau with dual sustainable seafood certification

Wynn Macau has become the first integrated resort in Macau to hold both Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Chain of Custody (CoC) certifications, following a third-party audit.

With Wynn Palace already certified in 2021, the certification confirms that all Wynn properties in Macau source seafood in compliance with internationally recognized standards for sustainable fisheries and responsible aquaculture.

The dual certification ensures that seafood offered at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace is fully traceable from procurement to dining.

Guilherme Martins, director of Sustainability for Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, said the certifications demonstrate the resort’s commitment to sustainable sourcing and operational standards. Wynn integrates sustainability practices into daily operations, aiming to support environmental protection while maintaining quality dining experiences.

“Through systematic and responsible procurement, we help protect marine ecosystem balance while delivering high-quality dining experiences that incorporate sustainability,” said Martins.
