Wynn Macau half-year net revenues down 37pct

Hong Kong Wynn MacauWynn Macau operations recorded net revenues of USD1.322 billion in the first half of 2015, down 36.8 percent year on year. Adjusted property earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) totaled USD385.733 million, down 44.2 percent. Its VIP gaming operations drove the reduction in Macau operations casino revenue, with USD32.7 billion in VIP turnover recorded for the six months preceding June 30, 2015 (down 47.6 percent).
Wynn Resorts, a controlling shareholder of Wynn Macau, has released its unaudited results for the second quarter. For the three months leading up to June 30, 2015, Wynn Resorts’ Macau operations, which are owned by Wynn Macau, recorded net revenues of USD616.952 million, down 35.8 percent year on year. Adjusted property EBITDA totaled USD173.391 million, down 43.5 percent.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the board of directors of Wynn Macau will be held next Thursday (20),  “for the purpose of considering and approving the interim results of the Company and its subsidiaries, and the payment of an interim dividend (if any)” for the first semester.
