Zhaoqing – Ambitious plans for low-altitude economy

Zhaoqing is set to develop its low-altitude economy, which refers to economic activities taking place below 3,000 meters in the airspace. The city’s newly released plan outlines eight key strategies to support this sector, including establishing industrial parks, fostering the growth of low-altitude aviation technologies, and enhancing research and development capabilities. By 2026, Zhaoqing aims to build an integrated industrial cluster that supports R&D, manufacturing, testing, and application, creating a thriving ecosystem for low-altitude economic activities.
