The Zhuhai General Frontier Inspection Station has recorded an average daily traffic volume of 19,000 vehicles since the beginning of the month for the Gongbei, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, and Hengqin ports. The figure represents an increase of 78.4% compared to last year, and an increase of 13% over the same period last month. Vehicles from both SARs recorded about 5,000 vehicle trips. Zhuhai authorities stated that they will continue to strengthen the monitoring of passenger flows and vehicle flows as well as deploy police resources accordingly.
