AI Expo connects Macau to international tech markets

Last week’s inaugural Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo (AIE) attracted about 1,000 global technology pioneers and 5,000 international buyers, according to the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM). In a recent statement, IPIM detailed that the “one exhibition, two cities” event led to more than 45 companies, including some publicly listed ones, expressing interest in setting up operations in Macau. During the event, Macau participants connected with buyers from the Middle East, Russia, Thailand, and other markets. Representatives also visited over 350 technology firms from mainland China, Portugal, Brazil, and other regions to promote Macau’s business advantages.
