Canadian Pop-Up event next month

For the second year running, the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macau will feature a temporary (or “Pop-Up”) consular presence in Macau on February 22 and 23. Serving as a networking event to promote Canada’s ties with Macau, as well as to celebrate Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation, the event will include two full days of activities such as meetings and presentations aimed at highlighting opportunities in the Canada-Macau relationship. Examples from last year’s Pop-Up event include study abroad opportunities and foreign investment prospects. According to the Consulate General, there are an estimated 4,000 Canadians currently living in the MSAR.
