After an excellent performance on Match Day 4, with a 1-0 victory over the Artilheiros team, ADRAM slipped on Match Day 5 against Hong Fong, conceding a tie (1-1) in a game played Sunday evening at the University of Macau Stadium.
With this result, and thanks to Artilheiros’ win over Sporting (2-1), ADRAM continues to lead the championship table but with just a one-point lead over Artilheiros, delaying the decision of the championship winner to the very last round, scheduled for Thursday (Dec. 18) at Lin Fong Stadium.
ADRAM will face Sporting at 7:15 p.m., while Hong Fong will play Artilheiros at 9 p.m. A win for ADRAM will secure the first-ever Macau Football League Women’s Division trophy. Otherwise, the championship winner will be decided only in the final match.
Regardless of the final match results, it is already determined that Hong Fong will finish third in the championship, and Sporting will place fourth and last.
The Macau Football League Women’s Division kicked off last month, marking its inaugural season after years of calls for its establishment.
