The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) will hold the finale of the third Macao International Children’s Arts Festival, the “MICAF Fun Day” Arts Carnival, from Aug. 21 to 23 and Aug. 28 to 30 at the Macao Cultural Centre Plaza.

The free event will feature inflatable installations, water activities, foam parties and small water slides, along with food stalls, handicraft workshops, game booths and children’s dress-up activities.

Entertainment will include acrobatics, magic shows, balloon twisting, clown performances, bubble artists, rope skipping and children’s stage performances such as drumming, cheerleading, street dance and DJ shows.

A new “Kid’s Reading Fun Share” session will allow children and parents to share stories and showcase their talents. Festival mascot MICAF will also interact with visitors.

A mobile library will operate at the carnival on Aug. 22 and 30, while heritage-themed games will introduce visitors to the Historic Centre of Macao.

Some activities require advance registration.
