Construction Worker injured at new Coloane prison

A 32-year-old construction worker was injured at the site of the new Coloane prison at about 11:30 a.m. yesterday. The Correctional Services Bureau expects the new prison to start operations this year. A metal bar hit the worker in the back and he was taken to the hospital for treatment. He was conscious during transportation, and the incident has been reported to the Labour Affairs Bureau.
