Imperial Court is offering an array of Chinese New Year specialty dishes such as Wok Fried Scaly Hedgehog Mushroom with Fillet Chicken and Duck Liver and Braised Whole South African Abalone with Sea Cucumber in Oyster Sauce. The restaurant also offers the Imperial Court Chinese Lunar New Year Grand Set (for a table of 12 persons) and Imperial Court Chinese Lunar New Year Gourmet Set (for a minimum of two persons).
Apart from the festive menus, MGM Macau also has an array of homemade Chinese New Year puddings such as the traditional Chinese New Year Pudding, Taro Pudding, Turnip Pudding and the new flavor Hashima, Red Date and Water Chestnut Pudding.
Furthermore, the Red Sandalwood Art Exhibition of Old Beijing City Gates is exhibiting the miniature landscape of Yongding Gate and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests in the Temple of Heaven, which are made of red sandalwood, also known as the “Imperial wood” in Chinese history.
MGM’s Grande Praça is already dressed up for the Chinese New Year with enormous jade and gold coins hovering over the Water-Sky Aquarium, which are synonymous with fortune and prosperity. From January 6 to March 15, wander from stall to stall with you friends and family to savor various East-meets-West specialty pastries such as Beijing style sugar coated fruit skewers, Beijing traditional pastry, doughnuts, specialty ice-cream and sorbet.
