In a bid to support the younger generation’s understanding of the region’s unique cross-cultural and historical heritage, MGM Macau has prepared several activities for the “Changzhou Student Study Tour to Macau” participants.
Co-organized by Changzhou Municipal Tourism Bureau and China Diaoyutai Travel (Macau) Co Ltd, MGM has prepared various art, cultural and family-fun activities with a closing ceremony for over 40 teachers, students and parents, as well as a delegation from Changzhou.
The group visited MGM as the last stop of their study tour, according to the resort’s press release.
The participants enjoyed strolling through the Butterfly Garden at Grande Praça and watching the fish-feeding show at the Aquarium, followed by a guided art tour at the “Edgar Degas: Figures in Motion” exhibition at MGM Art Space.
Within the Degas exhibition, guides shared the historical background of the renowned artist and stories about him.
The gaming operator has also prepared fun family activities, such as creating simple art works. The visitors were also given souvenir postcards to write to their families about their experiences in Macau.
A closing ceremony and dinner reception were held afterwards for teachers, students and parents, officials from Changzhou local government and other top officials.
