Sands China Ltd. has announced that its local resident employees can enrol in the government-promoted Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund (CPF) System beginning July 1, 2019.

According to a statement issued by the gaming operator, local employees who join the company from July 1 onward will have the option to sign up for the retirement savings scheme, while current local employees can choose to transfer to the new CPF system or remain in the company’s current provident fund scheme.

The gaming operator said that the scheme is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the company’s comprehensive benefits scheme by enhancing employees’ retirement protection.

ILCM raises Mop700,000 for charity

The International Ladies Club of Macau held a charity ball earlier this month featuring an evening of food, wine and entertainment, as well as auctions.

Held at the Aster Ballroom at the St. Regis Macau, the organization transformed into “romantic Spain for Una Noche de Flamenco,” and raised some MOP700,000 to support over 19 charities in Macau.

“The ILCM wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, prize donors and guests who helped make this magical evening a success,” the organization said in a statement.
