Views From The Macao Gaming Show 2013The Macao Gaming Show (MGS) has launched its latest marketing campaign in support of the government initiative to provide financial grants to assist local businesses reach a global audience at the gaming exhibition taking place this November 17-19 at the Venetian Macao.
A range of subsidies have been introduced for Macau-based businesses with grants available towards the rental of exhibition booths, stand construction fees, basic facilities and production fees for printed materials (flyers, pamphlets) and audio-visual materials (CDs/DVDs).
Whilst MGS has been a focus for international exhibitors and visitors, the show represents the only gaming industry expo organized and owned by Macau and Asia’s gaming businesses. As part of its commitment to the region, MGS has stepped up its activity to promote a range of local businesses and the new government subsidy scheme will allow local exhibitors, who are registered with the Macao Financial Services Bureau (DSF) and who meet specific requirements, to benefit from the initiative.

Macau’s biggest H&M is opening today at The Promenade, Galaxy Macau, with giveaways, gift cards and deals celebrating the arrival of the international retailer known for affordable fashion.
On the grand opening day, the first 500 H&M customers spending MOP888 or more will get a chance to win two passes for a free day on the Galaxy Macau Grand Resort Deck; furthermore, a giant teddy bear for photo-ops for shoppers outside the store is available, featured by the shopping mall.
The first customer in the door queue will win a MOP500 H&M gift card, and the next 149 customers can nab a MOP100 H&M gift card. Shoppers who need a little more beauty sleep can still take advantage of special deal on the day: spend MOP388 or more for a limited-edition tote bag (while stock lasts).
Alan Walker, Senior Vice President of Retail, Galaxy Macau, said: “We are delighted to welcome the H&M flagship store to The Promenade. Fashion addicts will adore the vast range of products at H&M’s The Promenade outlet – the largest in Macau and an exciting addition to The Promenade’s stylish mix of luxury flagships, high street favorites, designer boutiques and trendy cafés. Good luck to opening day shoppers vying for one of the spectacular deals on offer!”
