The highlight of any Thanksgiving Day celebration is a feast with roasted whole turkey, pumpkin pie and other festive delicacies. MGM Macau has brought the comfort dishes of the West to Macau to give guests an assortment of Thanksgiving Day treats.
A three-day celebration from November 26 until November 28 is available at Rossio with Thanksgiving lunch and dinner buffet menus including classic Thanksgiving dishes and some innovative specialties, like Citrus herb roasted turkey with stuffing, plus Caribbean rum glazed ham. Pies are also a must for the special day, including the savory Turkey pot pie and sweet pies, including Pumpkin pie with cinnamon cream, Mississippi pecan nut pie and others.
For those who prefer celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday at home with family and friends, the Pastry Bar offers a Thanksgiving take-away menu featuring Herb scented roasted turkey and Honey glazed baked ham. These come with different types of sauces, including traditional cranberry sauce, Port scented redcurrant glaze, spiced pineapple chutney, etc.
The take-away menu also features side dishes including Braised Brussels sprouts with spicy chorizo, Thyme scented haricot beans as well as festive desserts like the Classic Pumpkin pie, and special Caramel pumpkin cheesecake.

Sands China launches new training program

Group-photoSands China Ltd. is pioneering a new staff development program, offering employees the chance to master cross-departmental skills.
Staff who join the Integrated Resort Team Member Program will have the chance to train in a department of their choice, including entertainment, food and beverage, conventions and exhibitions, Sands Rewards Club, and hotel operations. As a result, they will enjoy expanded skill sets, giving them the ability to rotate between their original and their newly trained department, to support the needs of both. The program essentially creates employees who are cross-departmental and multi-skill proficient, in contrast with the traditional setup of single-department employees.
“We want to help create team members who are truly multi-talented leaders in the integrated resort industry,” said Ciaran Carruthers, senior vice president of property operations for Sands China Ltd. “This innovative new initiative does that by investing in our workforce. Helping them develop new skill sets further strengthens an already solid foundation, and that benefits our team members, the industry, and Macau as a whole. We hope efforts like this will help support the Macau government’s push to diversify the city and its labor force beyond gaming.”
