Facilitating the sharing of knowledge between the region’s industry talents, the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM), Shunde Polytechnic and MGM has co-organized the “MGM Talent Development Series – Cities of Gastronomy – Best of Macao and Shunde Culinary Arts Exchange” workshop. Several renowned chefs of Shunde Polytechnic, including two Cantonese cuisine masters Li Yongtai and Sun Yongkang, and dim sum master Zhong Yumei, were invited to be the guest speakers of the event. MGM Pastry Chef Shares Industry Expertise with MUST Students

On the other hand, MGM once again partnered with the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) to organize another culinary demonstration workshop. Neo Ng, Pastry Chef of MGM COTAI, was invited to showcase his expertise in chocolate-making to the bachelor students of M.U.S.T. majoring in Food & Beverage Management. Every academic year, both MGM and M.U.S.T. would invite renowned and established chefs of the industry to host workshops for its students. Marking the fourth edition of the series, both parties hope to enable students to better understand the professional techniques, and at the same time grasping the industry trend ahead to prepare them for their career development.
