IMG_0290The Jaguar F-Type S Coupé, a British luxury vehicle, was unveiled yesterday at Galaxy Macau in a cocktail party held at the resort’s nightspot China Rouge.
The supercharged 380hp sports car is able to reach 100kmph from a standstill in just 4.9 seconds, said the Executive Director of Jaguar Macau, Mr Daniel Cheng. According to the brand’s website, the car features “highly advanced engines.”
Mr Cheng said, “the Jaguar F-Type S Coupé represents the very best of British engineering and sports performance.” “We are very proud to [be] bringing it to one of the most dynamic cities in Asia,” he added.
The executive director of Jaguar Macau is convinced that this is the type of vehicle that will succeed in Asia’s gaming hub. “People in Macau obviously revel in excitement, glamour, and the best the world has to offer. So I am sure they will embrace the great looks and eye-watering thrill of driving the Jaguar F-Type S Coupé,” he stressed.
The integrated resort is looking to underline its position “as the preferred venue to bring world-renowned brands to Macau.”
Mr Raymond Yap, International Premium & Mass Market Development of Galaxy Entertainment Group, said yesterday that Galaxy Macau has always put an effort into providing luxurious products, offering “high-end experiences to premium customers.” He added that more luxury cars will be unveiled at the property, which shows that the “car market in Macau has become mature.”
“Galaxy’s royal image of New Palace of Asia matches these luxury car brands,” he said.
Furthermore, he recalled that Galaxy Privilege Club members would be able to redeem the car by using member points or privilege dollars, “having priority to enjoy this car experience.”
Mr Kevin Clayton, Chief Marketing Officer of Galaxy Entertainment Group, added in a statement that the car is being introduced to Macau for the first time, which has “generated additional excitement.”
In recent months, Galaxy Macau has also launched the new Mercedes Benz C-Class and the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, which Galaxy thinks reflects “a growing recognition of Macau as a sophisticated automobile market for discerning car lovers.”
The Galaxy Privilege Club was launched in 2011. Besides redeeming motorcars, it includes dining offers, exclusive access to events, and amenities such as China Rouge, as well as helicopter and limousine services, among others.
