The government yesterday carried out an interdepartmental eviction operation to reclaim a state-owned land illegally occupied, covering approximately 1,111 square meters. The land, located between Rua Fernão Mendes Pinto and Estrada Governador Nobre de Carvalho in Taipa, was fenced off with gates and metal sheeting, being used for container storage and vehicle parking. Despite previous notices, the land was not vacated within the deadline, leading to the government’s intervention for its recovery.
