Gov’t urge caution over European infant formula recall

Two European food companies, Hochdorf and Danone, are recalling several batches of infant formula potentially contaminated with Bacillus cereus. The Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Health Bureau confirmed that none of the affected brands have been imported to Macau. Authorities are monitoring the situation and advise residents to immediately stop feeding infants any affected products, whether purchased online or through other channels. Parents should seek medical attention if infants show symptoms.
