Macau film center opens to help industry tap into mainland market
The Macau Film and Television Industry Service Center, established by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), has begun trial operations to help the local film and television industry connect with the mainland market and integrate into the country’s overall development. Located at the IC building, the center reportedly offers in-person and online consultations, as well as industry events, in partnership with the Guangdong Film and Television Comprehensive Service Platform. Services include employment information, company registration guidance, policy advice on shooting and distribution, and assistance for Macau projects seeking to participate in mainland film festivals.
