MGM concludes youth space science program to promote STEM education

MGM, in partnership with the Association for Promotion of Science and Technology of Macau (MAPST) and the Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA), has concluded the third edition of the “MGM Youth Popular Science Series: Macau Space Dream Project.”
The project’s award presentation and graduation ceremony was held during the weekend MGM Macau, recognizing outstanding students and teams participating in the science education initiative.
Launched in 2024, the program is Macau’s first integrated science education project focused on space science and payload technology, featuring learning, practical activities and research-based training. This year’s activities included a space experiment design competition for secondary students and an aerospace experience camp for primary students.
Organizers said the program has engaged students from more than half of Macau’s schools over three years.
Winning teams will participate in an aerospace study tour in Beijing, while the Gold Award team will represent Macau at the 2026 International Space Science and Scientific Payload Competition in Hong Kong.
