MGM Cotai hosts Michelin-starred Angler for two-day collaboration

MGM’s “Gastronomic Journey with Star Chefs” series returns on August 21 and 22 with an exclusive cross-continental culinary event. Grill 58 at MGM Cotai will partner with Angler, the Michelin-starred San Francisco seafood restaurant that has held one Michelin star for seven consecutive years, for a two-day four-hand dining experience.
Marking Angler’s first guest chef collaboration in Asia, Chef Joe Hou and Grill 58’s Chef Basil Yu will create a menu featuring seasonal seafood and premium meats through live-fire grilling, smoking and dry-aging. The chefs will visit Macau’s local seafood markets to handpick ingredients for exclusive dishes.
The five-course lunch is priced at MOP680 per person, while the eight-course dinner costs MOP1,280 per person, plus a 10% service charge. Wine pairings curated by MGM’s assistant director of beverage Andy Tam, recently named the “Best Sommelier in Macau” at Tatler Best Hong Kong & Macau 2026, are also available.
