MGM organizes patriotic film screening for staff

MGM organized a screening of the patriotic film Crossing for more than 120 team members last week, in support of commemorative activities marking the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.
The event was attended by Zhao Su, assistant of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, MGM executive vice president of Human Resources Wendy Yu, and Crossing Macau distributor Liu Changmei.
The film depicts the Red Army’s Four Crossings of the Chishui River Campaign during the Long March, highlighting military strategy, leadership and teamwork.
Yu said the screening formed part of MGM’s efforts to support national education by helping employees better understand the historical significance of the Long March and encouraging them to apply its values of perseverance and responsibility in their work.
Participants said the film offered insights into the hardships and historical importance of the campaign while reinforcing appreciation for peace and resilience.
