Nearly 100 local brands showcased at HKTDC Food Expo

Nearly 100 “Made in Macao” and “Macao Brand” products were showcased at the 35th HKTDC Food Expo, held in Hong Kong and concluded earlier this week.
The Macao Pavilion, organised by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) in collaboration with the Industrial Association of Macau, featured a range of health foods, supplements, souvenir noodles, wines, and tea drinks, attracting buyers and visitors from Hong Kong, the mainland, and abroad.
The pavilion hosted six promotional exchange activities and 236 business matching sessions covering supply chain expansion, new product development, brand innovation, cross-industry collaboration, and alcoholic beverage trade.
According to a statement released by IPIM, local enterprises signed three letters of intent for cooperation in contract manufacturing, new product collaboration, and supply agreements, while sales exceeded expectations.
Halal-certified items and M-Mark certified health products drew notable interest, highlighting the quality and credibility of Macau goods. High-level visits from officials, including Zhang Shuguang, Bernard Chan, and Hong Kong Trade Development Council executive director Margaret Fong, underscored the pavilion’s role in strengthening regional collaboration and promoting Macau’s international presence.
