Operation finds six illegal hostels

A joint operation between the Public Security Police and the Macao Government Tourism Office to crack down on illegal hotels found six units suspected of illegally providing accommodation in the ZAPE area and Taipa. Authorities intercepted six people involved in illegal activities as the investigation confirmed that it was an illegal hostel. In an operation from Nov. 20 to Nov. 27, authorities found 36 people involved in illegal activities including illegal currency exchange and overstaying.
