Orbis Macau will launch its “2025 Action for Sight” campaign alongside the “Starry Night Charity Music Performance” on October 9 at the Planetarium of the Macao Science Center.
The event will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and aims to raise public awareness about the importance of eye health.
“Action for Sight” is held annually in conjunction with World Sight Day, highlighting global efforts to prevent avoidable visual impairment and blindness. Through the campaign, Orbis Macau encourages the public to care for their vision while supporting the organization’s mission to provide quality eye care in low- and middle-income countries.
The launch ceremony will feature representatives from Orbis Macau and its 2025 ambassadors – Bank of China Macau Branch, CTM, and Sands China Ltd. – with support from several local organizations and media partners.
Following the ceremony, the “Starry Night Charity Music Performance” will combine astronomy, music, and visuals under the planetarium dome.
