PSP reports record-breaking daily border crossings

The Public Security Police (PSP) reported a record 867,000 border crossings Feb. 7, marking the highest single-day total in the city’s history. Macau residents accounted for 36.7% of crossings, visitors 39.1%, and foreign workers 21.6%, with 174,000 visitors arriving in the city. The Gongbei Port saw nearly 463,000 entries and exits alone, the highest single-day traffic at the border in five years.
