Sands China has recently concluded its Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Month 2025, marking the eighth consecutive year of the initiative aimed at promoting workplace safety and employee well-being.
The six-week program featured a wide range of educational and wellness activities across the company’s local properties.
This year’s OSH Month focused on five themes: health monitoring, healthy eating, safety awareness, exercise and inner wellness.
Activities included health screenings, expert-led seminars, workshops, vaccination services and traffic safety education, encouraging staff to adopt healthier lifestyles and reduce workplace risks.
New elements introduced this year included AI-assisted retinal scans to assess chronic disease risks and enhanced health checks conducted in collaboration with local medical institutions. Sands China said in a statement that it also introduced programs addressing mental well-being, including sensory-based relaxation activities.
An OSH Month showcase held at The Venetian Macao featured exhibitions, competitions and awards recognizing departments demonstrating excellence in occupational safety and health, with support from government and community organizations.
