Sands China Ltd. recently presented its Youth Talent Development System at The Londoner Macao, outlining a multi-stage strategy aimed at supporting local talent from secondary school through employment.
The company also held a graduation ceremony for 154 students who completed summer internship programmes at its properties.
The framework covers four stages: secondary school, university, post-graduation, and employment. Initiatives include vocational programmes in stage technology, part-time training schemes for university students, fast-track development tracks for graduates, and comprehensive professional training through the Sands China Academy.
Chief executive officer Grant Chum said the initiative aligns with the SAR government’s vision for talent development, providing progressive support for youth in career planning.
Government officials and education representatives attended the event, which highlighted the company’s partnerships with local institutions.
Sands China said the system is designed to enhance employability, promote industry diversification, and strengthen the SAR’s long-term development.
