Galaxy co-launches ‘Made in Macao’ Organizer Competition

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and the Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (MYEIC), with support from the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), have opened registration for the “Made in Macao” Event Organizer Competition.

The contest invites Macau-registered SMEs and youth startups to submit proposals by October 10. The winning entry will receive a MOP200,000 contract and the opportunity to stage a two-day “Made in Macao” market on November 27–28 at GEG facilities.

Applicants must be Macau residents aged 18 to 44.

Each proposal should include 10 to 14 booths and detail plans for layout, stage design, décor, and merchant participation. Submissions will be judged on creativity, functionality, execution, sustainability, and contribution to promoting local SMEs and Macau-made products.

Organizers said the initiative aims to strengthen event management skills among local entrepreneurs while creating a platform to showcase Macau products and expand market opportunities.
