Casino operator Sands China Ltd. will hold a shopping event, coined the Sands Mega Brand Sale, from November 26 to 29 at its Cotai Expo Hall A. The event will feature the more than 200 brands that operate at the enterprise’s various properties. Merchandise on sale at the event will be subject to discounts of up to 90% only during the four days, according to the resort operator. Together with the shopping event, the resort operator is also giving out prizes as part of a lucky draw. There will be 20 prizes in total.
IAM vigilant on imported frozen food
The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) is stepping up its procedures related to imported frozen food, including expanding nucleic acid test samples from 100 to 120 each day. In addition to that, all imported frozen food, once it touches Macau’s ground, will be required to undergo full sanitization by each respective importer before being labeled to signal its completion of the process. Meanwhile, pursuant to the law, all animal-based food products should be declared prior to importation, and quarantining of the cargo is mandatory.
