Secretary Lei promotes Hengqin development in Boao Forum

The Secretary for Economy and Finance, Lei Wai Nong, attended the opening ceremony of the 2023 Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan yesterday. Lei met with Ni Qiang, vice governor of Hainan province, to communicate about the economic development, major industries, and construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and free trade in Hainan. Lei also visited the exhibition hall in Jiangdong’s new district, Haikou. The forum will continue until today, with a theme of “an uncertain world: solidarity and cooperation for development amid challenges”.
