Six local performing arts productions awarded IC grants
Six local performing arts productions have received grants from the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) under the 2024–2026 Performing Arts Production Program. The program provides funding of up to MOP900,000 for musicals and up to MOP650,000 for drama, dance, and children’s productions. Among the selected projects, the children’s play Chong Chong’s Hamster will premiere next month, and the dance production Selfish Selfie is set for November. According to the IC, support will be provided not only for production costs but also for promoting these works beyond Macau after their premieres.
