SJM recently donated pre-loved children’s books to the Cradle of Hope Association and Lar De Nossa Senhora Da Penha of Caritas Macau as part of its ongoing community initiatives.
This marks the second consecutive year that SJM has contributed second-hand books to the Cradle of Hope Association.
Earlier this month, SJM collaborated with the Macao Science Center to host a science outreach activity at the Cradle of Hope. The event featured a science-themed drama titled “The Tree of Life: Darwin,” attended by 24 children, aimed at making science engaging and accessible.
This performance is part of the “Science and Reading Literacy Enhancement Programme,” which has included over 30 performances since its inception in February.
Also, SJM team members visited Lar De Nossa Senhora Da Penha, where they engaged with 10 children through interactive games and storytelling sessions.
In addition to donating books, SJM provided newly purchased stationery, toys, and its mascot toy, “Sam the Rooster.”
