State Council appoints new Liaison Office deputy director

China’s State Council has appointed Yang Weiqun as deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macau. At the same time, Huang Liuquan has been removed from his posts as deputy director of the Liaison Office and as national security technical adviser to the Macau Special Administrative Region Committee for Safeguarding National Security.
