The Talent Development Committee (CDQQ) and the Macao Foundation have been accepting applications for the 2025 Certificate Reward Program for Talent Development since Monday.

The latest edition rewards residents who have completed professional certifications through 2025.

As noted in official documents, the scheme targets intermediate to advanced professionals to better meet sector demands. Awards range from MOP1,000 up to MOP8,000 across four tiers. These tiers include foreign language proficiency and industry-specific certifications.

Award catalogs expanded
In an official announcement earlier this week, CDQQ wrote: “To align with societal development needs, the co-organizers, after consulting with industry stakeholders, have expanded the award catalogs for this year’s programs.”

This year, certifications in tourism, conventions, e-commerce, and elderly care services have been added to the ‘Industry-Oriented Certification Examination’ category, while the ‘Professional Certification Incentive Scheme for Talent Development in Modern Finance’ has expanded its catalog to include certifications in anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention. Simultaneously, the ‘Professional Certification Incentive Scheme for Talent Development in Information Technology’ has introduced certifications in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and system administration to its catalog.

As approval is first-come, first-served, prompt application is advised. For further details, applicants should visit the CDQQ website or contact them directly by phone at 2855 5108.

Applications for the program will be accepted via the CDQQ website or Macao One Account until March 31 next year. NS
