A mainland tourist has been intercepted by local police after allegedly taking a lost handbag outside a hotel in the peninsula. The bag, valued at around MOP140,000, contained documents, a watch, and HKD64,000 in casino chips. The suspect admitted to keeping the bag out of greed. Most items were recovered, though the chips remain missing. Surveillance footage helped identify and locate the man. The case has been handed over to the Public Prosecutions Office.
