Tria Spa expands offerings to clients

Tria Spa at MGM Macau has presented new offerings to its clients, in line with the upcoming opening of the operator’s second property, MGM Cotai.

With the slogan ‘wellness, beauty and vitality,’ MGM’s spa targets the various spa needs of its clients.

At an event held recently by the spa, director Misty Stewart expressed that the rebranded spa intends to expand its offerings to better meet customers’ needs. In contrast, the previous spa only offered a limited range of organic and natural products.

During the event, the spa launched the mineral make-up line Jane Iredale, and introduced GHD into its salon’s hair equipment range.

Tria Spa currently offers massage and body treatments, facials, salon treatments and physical fitness classes.

Speaking to the Times, Stewart implied that the spa is distinctive from other spas in the region as it offers new technology and results-driven treatments to its clients.

“What we really try to have is something for everyone. We know that everybody has different reasons why they go to the spa,” she said.

Stewart also revealed that the spa at MGM Cotai features new facilities and is decorated with hints of Portuguese colors and elements.

“The idea behind the spa at MGM is that you have this Portuguese lady who has traveled the world and brought back all these different components. So, when you first enter the spa, it’s like you’re entering a Portuguese garden,” Stewart explained.

“We try to bring in different pieces from all over the world. The different product lines that we carry and spa treatments that we have all have little influences from all over,” she added.

Stewart also said that the group has recruited therapists from Bali, Thailand and China, and the spa is able to provide treatments from these regions to its clients.

Tria Spa also recently launched a pilot program of fitness classes called ‘bogafit’ and ‘surfset,’ which are offered at the MGM outdoor pool. These are full body workouts that focus on building core strength and lean muscle, burning fat and improving balance.  LV
