The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) reported that a low-pressure area east of the Philippines has developed into a tropical depression. Based on current forecasts, the system may enter within 800 kilometers of Macau between tonight and early tomorrow, when the Typhoon Signal No. 1 signal will be considered. The cyclone is expected to strengthen over the next two days and move toward eastern Guangdong, though its track and intensity remain uncertain.
