Two Nobel laureates at UM

The University of Macau is organizing two lectures on medical chemistry this coming July 10 and 11 on the ground floor of its multi-functional hall, with two Nobel Laureates invited to give talks. One of the guest speakers, Prof. Ada Yonath, claimed the Nobel prize in chemistry in 2009 while another speaker, Prof. Aaron Ciechanover, was crowned with the title in 2004 for his endeavors, also in chemistry. Interested parties must register in advance. The first talk will explore the topic of “Resistance to Antibiotics and Preserving the Microbiome”. The second one will focus on the topic of “The Personalized Medicine Revolution: Are We Going to Cure All Diseases and at What Price?”
