The University of Macau (UM) officially became a member of the UNESCO Chair on Intercultural Dialogue on Heritages of Portuguese Influence network, hosted by the University of Coimbra. The collaboration strengthens UM’s links with universities in Portuguese-speaking countries and supports cultural heritage research and international academic exchange. During a ceremony, UM and Coimbra representatives confirmed their partnership and pledged to develop the Luís de Camões Universal Database, a digital platform for Portuguese cultural studies. The Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management at UM’s Faculty of Business Administration will lead project implementation.
