UM’s Portuguese Language Summer Programme attracted over 400

The University of Macau’s (UM) Department of Portuguese held a closing ceremony for the 39th Portuguese Language Summer Programme, showcasing participants’ learning through cultural performances. The three-week program attracted 406 participants from various regions, including the mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, and Australia. Participants received certificates for meeting course requirements. The program featured language courses, cultural activities, and seminars on linguistics, literature, and more. Students like Febriana Teixeira from Timor-Leste appreciated the opportunity to experience local culture and utilize UM’s facilities. At the same time, Letícia Feng from the mainland valued the interactions with professors and international peers.
