USJ to launch new biology and mental health master’s programs

The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) will launch two new academic programs for the 2025/2026 academic year: a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Biotechnology, and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health. In a statement, the university highlighted the relevance of biology and biotechnology in addressing key global challenges such as food security, sustainable energy, and medical advancements. The master’s program is the first in Macau dedicated specifically to mental health in social work. Applications for both programs are open until August 29.
