Azerbaijan waives visas for Macau passports for one year

Azerbaijan will grant visa-free entry to holders of Macau Special Administrative Region passports starting Feb. 2, 2026, for one year through Feb. 2, 2027, the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) announced Wednesday. The policy, notified by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the People’s Republic of China, stems from the “strategic partnership” between Azerbaijan and China to “further expand relations in economic, cultural, tourism, and other spheres.” Macau passport holders may visit up to three times during this period, staying a maximum of 30 days per entry.
